I enjoyed reading “The Happiness Question”. Reading this book allowed me to reflect and dig deeper on what happiness truly is and when to be content in life.
The author allows readers multiple definitions of true happiness and ties it to real world experiences. That authentic feature allowed me to connect it to my personal life. I highly recommend “The Happiness Question”. Enjoy! - Reviewer USA Amazon
This is an incredibly well researched book, with the context and suggested "solves" tied to research. It's also a very relatable, pleasant read because the author is vulnerable and weaves in her own stories of struggle, triumph and everything in between. Truly timely in these times given so much swirl in the world. Too many favorite sections to choose from but if I had to pick, I would say the chapter on overthinking resonated strongly. This is a book one keeps on the shelf to go back to time and time again.

The Happiness Question by Esther Awovi Akafia is an inspiring and reflective exploration of what it truly means to live a happy and fulfilled life. In this thoughtful work, the author challenges readers to examine their understanding of happiness and consider whether it is something to be chased externally or cultivated from within.
The book carefully explores themes such as self-discovery, purpose, faith, resilience, and personal growth. Rather than presenting happiness as constant pleasure or material success, Akafia frames it as a deeper sense of contentment rooted in mindset, values, and spiritual awareness. Her writing encourages readers to pause, reflect, and reassess their priorities.
One of the strengths of the book is its relatable tone. The author uses practical examples and reflective insights that make the message accessible to a wide audience. Readers are invited not just to read, but to engage—questioning their choices, habits, and definitions of success.
